ABOUT

"Everything I do—as a business owner, entrepreneur, speaker, and executive director—has come from a place and purpose bigger than myself. If people believe what I say, it will change their lives."
~ Jackie Bouvier
Jackie Bouvier, an accomplished entrepreneur and visionary leader, is the woman behind a premier consulting firm focusing on startups, non-profits, and leadership development. As a woman of faith and an ordained minister from her early 20s, she is dedicated to equipping people with the tools they need for success.
Besides her entrepreneurial endeavors, she enhances Denver’s economic scene as the part-time Executive Director of the Business Improvement District. Jackie, a renowned international speaker and co-author, also presides as Denver’s President of Prospanica and heads the Colorado Multiethnic Coalition, demonstrating her widespread influence.
Her recent appointment as chair for the Denver Mainstreets/Business Improvement Districts and involvement in the Latina Track and Brillante Awards spotlight her dedication to uplifting local businesses and celebrating Latina achievements.
Jackie’s education includes an international MBA and a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
Her commitment to leadership growth is evident in her engagement with the Leadership Program of The Rockies and the Latino Leadership Institute. In her advocacy work, Jackie is a pivotal state leader for Hispanic and Faith Outreach, advising on strategy across various levels of leadership and public service.
Her work has garnered recognition locally, nationally, and internationally, including being distinguished as a Hispanic star leader and representing Colorado Hispanics at the United Nations.
Against the Odds
However, Jackie didn’t have an easy ride to the top of her field. She didn’t have much of a childhood, and what she did experience was marred by instability and a fractured family.
Her early years were spent in the heart of the projects, where violence shadowed every step, and survival was the only currency. Jackie’s childhood unfolded like a drama you might watch on Netflix. Moving to the US from El Salvador as an infant, she was thrust into the role of caregiver and managing the household at the age of eight. Her mother battled her own demons, and they lived life on the edge, struggling to stay afloat on meager government provisions.
Relocation was no better; it introduced Jackie to an even more dangerous world. At the age of 12, she stepped into the so-called “summer of violence” in Colorado, a period marked by rampant gang conflicts and the constant echo of gunshots.
It was the unexpected words of a neighbor that ignited a transformation within Jackie. She insisted that she possessed the power to change her situation. It was that power of realizing the potential for something greater that guided Jackie through the darkest times and, she says, “Saved my life.”
Today, Jackie is a devoted wife to Paul Bouvier and a loving mother to their four children. She enjoys traveling with her family and outdoor adventures in the Rockies. Jackie believes in motivating others to find and utilize their unique abilities, which is a guiding principle in her personal and professional life.
